Bauxite beneficiation plant in Australia purchased five more SDM’s after a successful trial

Last week, Rhosonics dispatched five non-nuclear Slurry Density Meters (SDM) to a client in Queensland, Australia. The client purchased these five units after a successful trial of one unit at their bauxite beneficiation plant. The ultrasonic density meter of Rhosonics was verified against a Coriolis density meter and showed very reliable measuring results in the tailings discharge slurry application without any noticeable wear on the sensor tip. Therefore, it was decided to choose the non-nuclear ultrasonic technology of Rhosonics for five other applications as well.

Recently we got more news from the mining industry in Australia. At the end of July, our new Rhosonics representative Instrowest installed their first non-nuclear Rhosonics density meter for a nickel client on their thickener underflow in Western-Australia.
